with thanksgiving still fresh in our minds, i have so much to share and be thankful for! (please excuse my grammar...i only haveone hand right now. the other is pumping plasma)
1.# Thank you God for a healthy body to give to others and provide money thru
God has been so faithful to provide for this trip. i recently hit the 75% deadline which was necessary to holdmy spot and purchase myticket.thru prayers and financial support of frineds and family, babysittingopportunities, and now ajob! God ismaking it all posible!
2.# Yes you read correct another job! 40 hrs a week too .
how awesome is He? with almost a month til i leave i wasnt expecting any job this late in thegame. who wants to hire someone who will be leaving soon? well God has done it again....providing a legit 40 hrs a week for about 3 weeks........CHANGING LIGHTBULBS, ha. yes avery unusual job. but a job none theless. He can make anything happen.
i still dont understand his love for me and i probably never will. but i do know His love is BIG. thats not a very gooddescrbing word. but just know its bigger than anything wecouldever imagine. and its constant. its notcircumstancial. he is just one big lover and i am really just one big underserving loser. BUT HE LOVESME ANYWAYS. so amazing.
so amid all myjoyfulness and thanksgiving ive also made the decision to be baptized!
3.# The active choice to obey God and openly identify with Jesus Christ!
i was once baptized when i was 8. i was pretty much forced ( not by my parents) and didnt have any idea what it was about other than my salvation. DISCLAIMER: being baptized does not save you! i could be baptized and million times and if there is no heart change and i dont choose to accept Jesus as my Lord and Savior....ive got NO chance of him letting me in Heaven with him. Just saying.
so i cant wait! i am excited to stand before my church family and share my love and faith with them and officially become one of the fam at calvary baptist :)
